Job Title: Collection Manager – Banking/NBFC
Location: Mohali

Job Summary:
One of our client is looking for a Collection Manager to oversee and enhance our debt recovery operations in the banking and NBFC sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute collection strategies to minimize NPAs and maximize recovery.
- Oversee the entire loan book, ensuring timely recovery from customers.
- Manage and lead a team of field collection executives and third-party recovery agencies.
- Monitor and analyze delinquent loan accounts, identify risks, and implement proactive recovery measures.
- Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, SARFAESI Act, and NBFC collection policies.
- Handle legal escalations, coordinate with lawyers, law enforcement, and dispute resolution forums.
- Establish customer engagement strategies to negotiate settlements and reduce defaults.
- Analyze MIS reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Track key collection metrics, generate reports, and present insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-10 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or credit risk management in a bank/NBFC.
- Strong knowledge of RBI/NBFC regulations, HL/LAP products, and NPA management principles.
- Experience in handling secured & unsecured loans, personal loans, vehicle loans, and MSME financing.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with fintech-driven recovery models and digital collection tools.
